Grandma Dishes @ Taiping Lang

Photos from Langkawi are still not ready to be posted up yet. Tons of photos to go through and I’m too lazy! Stay tune. =)

So for now I shall post about more FOOD my family & I had at Restaurant Taiping Lang, Puchong Jaya. My dad suggested having dinner there after reading it in an article from the New Straits Time paper.

So what Taiping Lang is all about? Yes no doubt, the dishes originated from Taiping, so you expect more home-cook cuisines to be served here. The ambience of the place reminds me of the olden times, with antiques of all sorts scattered around the place. It’s comfy and it really made me felt at home while enjoying my food.

They have a wide range of set menus at affordable prices; but their portions are a little small. The antique looking restaurant!
The grandma menu....
Eating utensils!
Packed during dinner time.
Food Lover is ready to eat it all!!!! yum yum...
Sisterly bond says it all
I tried their white coffee and it was not too bad!
Some grandma dishes we had that night...!
This was yummy! I love "mui choy"!
The yummy assam fish! Love the soup!
Prawn sambal with cucumbers! Spicy & yummy!
The bill came up to about RM 70++ for the 6 of us, inclusive of rice and drinks!

Name: Restaurant Taiping Lang
Location: No 19-01, Jln Kenari 18B, Bdr Puchong Jaya, Puchong.
